GIMP for altering images

GIMP is a versatile graphics manipulation package.

It  is a freely distributed program for such tasks  as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

It has many capabilities. It   can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching   program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image   renderer, an image format converter, etc.

GIMP is expandable and extensible. It is designed to be   augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. The   advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to   the most complex image manipulation procedures to be easily scripted.

A community project

Ubuntu Studio is a community effort, created by volunteers, targeted towards all skill levels, from beginner to pro, and aims to be easy to install and easy to use, as well as provide all the tools nessecary for any type of media content creation.

will be at the Ponte Vecchio, Italian Restaurant in Bridge St, Hereford sometime to be booked in December. We’ve been last two years and the food and place was great, never anything too much trouble.

This is using the new TwentyFourteen theme,

but with no featured posts in the six top slots.

It has an excellent menu system and is responsive, it works well on smartphones.

But its not perfect.

 

I would like a list of posts with excerpts of the first 50ish words, not the full length of the latest post on the homepage like now (9Jan2014)
